at be+cause, we think a lot about culture as a powerful vehicle and arena for change. It is also something we like to create--from producing the Tibetan Freedom Concerts to starting a clothing line to assisting other culture makers in their efforts to create positive social change. Being part of a lab (our parent company is C3 Lab), we like to innovate and experiment. This blog is where you can see it happen.

BE+CAUSE=C3 Lab's experiments in cultural products

C3 Lab has launched a clothing line called be+cause. The line incorporates cause related messages in a totally new way through collaborations with established and emerging graphic designers. The idea behind the product line is that it is created out of "360 degrees of good"--where respect and responsibility are designed into each product. It is also intended to experiment with our idea of cultural organizing and products as a conveyer of identity, community and meaning. We'll continue to report in this blog and elsewhere the results of these experiments.
